We’re always doing something here at the Foundry. Whether it’s a networking workshop or support program, keep an eye on what’s going on.
Saying Goodbye to an Old FriendPosted on
In March 2017 the Foundry residents said good-bye to The Foundry on the 1st Floor of CityEast.
The Foundry has helped revitalise the Enterprise Agency’s profile over the last few years, with a surge of interest in the centre and its facilities and programmes. Through Instagram, Facebook and Twitter the Foundry facility has attracted a dedicated following of over 7000 users with monthly interaction across the channels regularly. The Foundry brand has also enabled East Belfast Enterprise to reposition itself as a modern, entrepreneurial centre which is actively engaging with the needs of the local business community. As a co-working space, The Foundry bridges the previous gap between pre-start programme participants and private office tenants. The inexpensive and flexible workspace to house these early stage start-ups, providing a professional environment that has seen their businesses grow exponentially due to the supportive community and added value of business services the centre offers them.
The co-working space has hosted over 50 unique start-up businesses and has attracted almost 200 people to business workshops over the last year and a half. We solve a real problem of people working alone in providing a support network and quality business service. As one of the first true co-working spaces in Northern Ireland, and seeing more and more spaces enter development every day, we are confident we are at the forefront of what is soon to be a big business here as it is in the rest of Europe.
It has served our co-working community well and now welcomes Big Pixel Creative, a local Digital Agency. Thank-you all for your hard-work, laughter and business networking. We look forward to welcoming you to the NEW Foundry.
